Ekopak is made from Bagasse which is the
best alternative to non-biodegradable
plastic tableware. Plastic tableware is
manufactured using petroleum-based
products and is extremely harmful to the
environment. While plastic forever sits in
the landfill, thanks to the products made
from bagasse and 100% compostable
quality there will be on landfill in the future.
In simple words, the dry pulpy residue left after the extraction of juice from sugar cane is bagasse. Rather than throwing that leftovers away or burning it, we bring it to our factories and further mold it into different shapes and products that are perfect for serving food.
